Thai Brahmotsavam commenced in a grand manner at Sri Saranatha Perumal Temple, Thirucherai Divyadesam. On January 18th 2016, in the morning Sri Saranatha Perumal had Badri Narayanan Thirukolam and in the evening Sri Perumal had Paramapadanadhan Thirukolam followed by Purappadu on Sesha Vahanam along with His Consorts. On the Day 4 Utsavam, Sri Perumal had Muthangi Sevai and gave scintillating dharshan in Pallaku during purappadu. In the evening, Sri Perumal had Purappadu in the temple streets of Thirucherai on Garuda Vahanam. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and parayana ghosti. Thousands of devotees thronged in the Brahmotsavam and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
