Vaikasi Brahmotsavam commenced in a grand manner at Arcot Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple. On May 19th 2016, in the morning Sri Perumal with His Consorts had beautiful alangaram and Dwajarohanam was performed. Later in the evening Sri Perumal had Venugopalan Thirukolam followed by Thiruveethi Purappadu on Punnai Mara Vahanam. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place in the midst of ghosti parayanam. Many devotees participated in the Utsavam and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
