The day 2 of Pavithrotsavam was celebrated in grand manner at Sri Adhikesava Perumal Temple, Peyazhwar Devasthanam, Mylapore, Chennai. On the day 2 of pavithrotsavam, Homam was conducted both in morning and evening . Later in the evening, Sri Adhikesava perumal with his consorts followed by Sri Peyazhwar thiruveedhi purappadu took place in the temple streets of Mylapore. A huge crowd astikas are invited to attend the Pavithrotsavam and get the blessings of Sri Mayuravalli Thayar and Sri Adhikesava Perumal.
