On January 16th, 2018,Hevilambi Thai Pooradam; The day after pongal, Kanchi Sri Devaperumal made his customary visit to Sri Lakshminarasimhaswamy Temple at Pazhayaseevaram hillock for Parvettai.
In the evening , Sri Devaperumal comes down of Pazhaya Seevaram Thirumalai to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swami Temple. Then Sri Devaperumal from Sri Lakshmi Narasimha swami Temple Purappadu to Thirumookoodal Village there in Appan Sri Venkatesa Perumal temple Mandagappadi Kandarulal. Then Sri Devaperumal Thirumookoodal Mandagappadi Kandarulal at Village streets
In the night, Sri Devaperumal starts his procession back to Kanchipuram. All the way getting the mariyathai from Mandagapadi and blessings them. Sri Devaperumal in the closed wooden Palanquin wearing a Orange wardrobe gave magnificient darshan to Bhakthas during purappadu. Reaches Kanchi in the early morning and finishing all the mandagappadis in Kanchipuram town get backs to Kannadi arai. Lot of astikas took part in Sri Devaperumal Pazhayaseevara Parvaettai Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Devaperumal.

I had been to Devarajaperumal temple on 15/1/2018( around 11 Am) and had darsan of Mulavar. The urchavar was not there and I was told by the priest that he had been taken to another place.I came from Bangalore( en route to katpadi) to have their darsan and I was little upset for I could not see urchavar that day but with his grace I had an opportunity to have his graceful glimpse through this portal.Thank you
