On 8th August 2018 (Srivilambi Aadi Mirugaseerisham), Thirupavithrotsavam started in a grand manner at Sri Kothandaramar Temple, Tirupathi. Sri Kothandaramar with Seetha and Lakshman had Thirumanjanam. After thirumanjanam, they had a beautiful alankaram with several flower garlands and ornaments. Thereafter, homam was performed. Many devotees participated in the 1st day of the Pavithrotsavam and received the blessings of Sri Kothandaramar.
