CONDUCT OF ANKURARPANAM IN SRI GOVINDARAJA SWAMY TEMPLE
Sri Senadhipathi varu was taken around in procession on Tiruchi around four mada streets on 26 May 2012, sunday evening in connection with nine day annual Brahmotsavam in Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple
` Dwajarohanam’ was performed in the temple, signalling the commencement of the nine-day annual `Brahmotsavam’ in Sri Govindaraj Swamy Temple, Tirupati on Sunday. The sacred yellow cloth flag with the imprint of Lord Garuda, the celestial carrier of Lord Maha Vishnu, was hoisted atop the golden flag post `Dwajasthambham’ situated inside the temple complex at the auspicious karkataka lagnam at 9.10 a.m. on 27 May 2012 amidst the traditional recitation of Vedic hymns by temple priests.
SIMHA VAHANAM
On the third day of the ongoing nine-day annual Brahmotsavam in Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, the processional deity of Lord Govindaraja Swamy, mounted atop the `SIMHA VAHANAM’ in form of Yoga Narasimha Swamy, was taken out in a grand procession in Tirupati on 29 May 2012 Tuesday morning.
MUTHYAPU PANDIRI VAHANAM
Processional deities of Lord Govindaraja Swamy along with His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi were taken out in a grand procession atop Muthyapu Pandiri Vahanam as part of third day of ongoing nine day Annual Brahmotsavam in Sri GovindarajaSwamy Temple, Tirupati on Tuesday night.
KALPAVRUKSHA VAHANAM
Processional deities of Lord Govindaraja Swamy along with His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi were taken out in a grand procession atop Kalpavruksha Vahanam in form of Sri Krishna Avataram as part of fourth day ongoing nine day Annual Brahmotsavam in Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Tirupati on 30 May 2012 Wednesday morning.
