Swamy Doddayacharyar Avathara Utsavam at cholasimmapuram(Sholingur) was celebrated grandly on his thirunakshatram Masi Uthiradam. Swamy Doddayacharyar alias cholasimhapuram maharyar was one the eight prime shisyas of Sri Ponndikkal jeeyar who lived in 16th century. His bhakti towards Kanchi Perarulalan is quiet known to all, which even today we celebrate the incident of Varadar giving his garauda vahana darshan to this maha acharya at takkankulam during vaikasi garuda sevai utsavam.

I have been blessed by the details of the Thirunakshtram celebrations of Swamy Doddachariyar on the 8th March, 2013. This is a rare event the the phtographs have taken us directly to Cholasimmapuram. I am in Bangalore and am 80 years old. Could you suggest a suitable time to visit Cholasimhapuram and receive blessings of the Acharya.
