At Devermalai Sri Kathir Narasihma Perumal Vaikasi Bhirmosavam was started yesterday with Dwajarohanam. The 10 day Brahmotsavam would carry on till May 22, 2013.
Located 65kms West of Tiruchirapalli and 35kms South East of Karur is the 550year old Sri Kathir Narasinga Perumal temple in Devar Malai, a temple whose story dates back to Hiranya Samhara and who construction in its present form to the Nayak period.
