HH 46th Srimath Azhagiyasingar’s Chathurmasya Sankalpam – Day 33

Today, August 23, 2013; Vijaya Avani Purattadhi, is Day 33 of HH 46th Srimath Azhagiyasingar, Srivan Sathakopa Sri Ranganatha Yathindra Maha Desikan’s Chathurmasya Sankalpam at Srirangam Dasavatharan Sannidhi.

At the Brindavanam of HH 41st Srimath Azhagiyasingar, the monthly Purattadhi Thirumanjanam was done to the divya mangalamurthis of HH 41st Srimath Azhagiyasingar. Srimath Azhagiyasingar’s poorvashrama grandson heads a Trust comprising of family members mainly and they conduct Thirunakshatram and Swami’s Aradhanam with full shraddhai.

At Sri Matham, Abhigamanam, theertham, Sri Sathari and Prasada viniyogam (Kathrikkai sadam, therrati-pal and fruits) happened at the usual time.

We talked about the Sannidhi Aradhakars, Paricharakas, Ashrama kainkaryaparas, Ugranam and Madapalli Kainkaryaparas. Besides these, there is an Office that forms part of the Kainkaryaparas. This department headed by Dathu swami. The office bearers are always busy. They maintain all records such as bank records, address list of shishyas and pandithas. They go to banks, make deposits/withdrawals.  They go to post-office to mail stuff.  They send communications like invitations, srimukhams and mantrakshadais. The amount of mail they get is mind boggling. Each mail is read to Srimath Azhagiyasingar and replied. Sometimes it is a sick devotee asking for Mantrakshatai, sometimes a request for samashrayanam or Bharanyasam. Mostly it is about upanayanams, weddings, seemantham, shashtiabdhipoorthis or sathabhishekams. Some mails require only mantrakshatai to be sent others need perumal malai etc to be sent through some kainkaryapara. Maniyam takes  care of petty-cash, makes all the purchases for the Sri Matham, distributes dakshinai and other sambavanai, etc. This department is maintained by one person. This mobile office, if we can call it, functions to near perfection due to the blessings of Sri Malolan, Srimath Azhagiyasingar and the total dedication of the kainkaryaparas.
