As part of the ongoing Thirunakshatra Utsavam of Srimath Adivan Sathakopan Yathindra Maha Desikan at Triplicane Sri Ahobila Mutt, yesterday (October 4, 2013) was Day 4 of the utsavam. The utsavam commenced on October 1, 2013 and will carry on for 10 days till October 10, 2013.
Yesterday, Thiruvaradhanam took place in the afternoon followed by Thirumanjanam and theertham. In the evening at 6.30 pm, pathi ulathal started. Srimath Adivan Sathakopan was adorned with Paandian kondai. Thereafter, satrumurai took place with recitation of Nanmugan Thiruvandhadhi, Thiruvaimozhi and Paramapadhasopanam. Simultaneously, Veda parayanam (Yajusham and Saamam) also took place. Prasada vinoyogam (upma and  sundal) followed and Kamasikastakam, Chathusloki , Sri Stuthi were recited viniyoga ghosti as it was Uthiram.
It may be noted that today’s alankaram is special as it would be similar to that of HH at Ahobilam with Nrusimhan in His hands.
