On November 10, 2103;Vijaya Varusha Aippasi Thiruvonam, Swami Desikan Thirunakshatram was celebrated grandly at Tirumala and Tirupathi. At Sri Govindarajaswami Temple in Tirupati, the utsavam was celebrated for 10 days in the month of Aippasi after the conclusion of Srivari Brahmostavam at Tirumala. This year, the Avathara Mahotsavam was celebrated from November 1 to 10, 2013. Yesterday, Aippasi Sravanam being the Satrumurai day, Temple Honours (maryadai) from Tirumala temple were presented to Swami Desikan. Lord Govindaraja Swami visited Swami Desikan sannadhi and both Sri Govindarajaswami & Sri Desikan went to veedhi Purpadu on the four mada Streets of Sri Govindajaswami temple. Thousands of Astikaas attended Swami Desikan sathumurai and received the blessings of Lord Sri Govindarajaswami & Swami Desikan. Veda Ghosti was performed by scholors & shishyas of Tirupati Veda Patasala. The Sattrumurai was followed by Poorna Kumbha Harathi, Mangala Harathi, Theertham & Srishatari. Prasadhams was distributed to the  gathered shishyas and Devotees.
