Today January 18, 2014; Vijaya Varusha Thai Thiruvathirai, is Day 8 of the Irapathu Utsavam was celebrated at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam (SVDD) Mylapore, Chennai. Azhwar is adored with ‘Kanninun chiru thambu ‘ malai. Its a special haram inscribed with these precious pasurams. This is unique haram for azhwar in this temple.Bhattar is showing the wordings on it.Perumal purappadu happens in the evening in Ul Prakaram.Lot of Astikas pariticipated in the utsavam and received the blessings of Azhwar, Thayar and Perumal.
