On January 30, 2014, Lakshadeepam was celebrated at Sri Kothanda Ramar ThiruKoil at West Mambalam, Chennai in very grand manner. Thousands of devotees came and lit lamps at 6 pm in the evening around the utsavar Perumal and inside the temple premises. Each & every step the temple was decorated with kolam and Agal Vilakku.
