As part of the ongoing Theppotsavam at Sri Adikesava Perumal temple, Mylapore, Chennai, today, February 3, 2014; Vijaya Varusha Thai Poorattadhi, was Day 5 and the concluding day of the Theppotsavam. Today, there was Theppam for Sri Peyazhwar in Upadesa Mudirai to Thirumazhisai Azhwar. At the sannidhi, Sri Bashyakarar, Swami Manavala Mamunigal and Embar were also present. Several devotees participated in the utsavam and received the blessings of the Azhwar and Acharyas.
Today also marked the commencement of the thirunakshatra utsavam for Embar at the temple. The utsavam will take place for 10 days and culminate into Embar’s thirunakshatram to be celebrated on February 13, 2014 (Thai Punarvasu).
