Kodiyalam is a small hamlet situated on the banks of river Kaveri in Tiruchirappalli District ( Near Musiri) Tamil Nadu. Kodiyalam is around 17 Kms from city of Srirangam. This village has many traditions of having given to the world many top eminents in Srivaishnava Sampradayam as well as Hindu Religion. This village is famous for its Navaneetha Krishna Temple.
On this Small village every year Brahmotsavam is conducted with the help of group of Srivaishnava from Srirangam. The Culture and Heritage is still there by conducting Utsavam at the Village Temples. The Brahmotsavam commenced on 13 th February 2014. Gopala Krishna Perumal gave darshan in Chapparam and on day 2 Perumal purappadu happens on Hamsa Vahanam. Prabhandam and Vedaparayana Gosthi happens during purappadu. Lot of astikas took part in the Utsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis
