As part of the Vaikasi Brahmotsavam at Sri Kadhir Narasimha Perumal Temple, Thiruther utsasvam took place on June 7, 2014. Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi Utsavar Sri Bhakthosithan adorned the new silver Kavacham.
Located 65kms West of Tiruchirapalli and 35kms South East of Karur is the 550year old Kadhir Narasinga Perumal temple in Devar Malai, a temple whose story dates back to Hiranya Samhara and who construction in its present form to the Nayak period.
