The annual pavithrotsavam is scheduled to be celebrated at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Koil, Kodavasal, from July 21 to 23, 2014 this year. Further, Brahmotsavam and Swami Desikan utsavams are scheduled to be celebrated from September 25 to October 6, 2014.
The temple is in need of Rs.2 lakhs for Pavitra Utsavam & Rs 8 lakhs for Brahmotsavam to meet the expenses. It has expressed difficulty in making an estimate for flowers, pandal, cook, electrical arrangements, sripatham thangigal, provisions for prasadams & guest food, bhattar/Vedam/Prabandam sambavanai & other incidental expenses, since the rates are erratic. Astikas may contribute liberally for the above Utsavams.
