On August 2, 2014; Jaya Varusha Aadi Chithirai , Aadi Brahmothsavam commenced in a grand manner at Thirumaliruncholai Sri Kallazhagar Temple. On this occasion, in the morning Dwajarohanam was performed Perumal Purappadu took place in Kedyam.And in the evening Sri Kallazhagar had Thiuveethi Purappadu in Hamsa Vahanam . Several devotees participated in the Brahmothsavam purappadu and received the blessings of Sri Kallazhagar.
