On 5 October 2014, Jaya varusha Purattasi Avittam; day 2 of Pavithrotsavam was celebrated in grand manner at Sri Adhikesava Perumal Temple, Peyazhwar Devasthanam, Mylapore, Chennai. On the day 2 of pavithrotsavam, Homam was conducted both in morning and evening . Later in the evening, Sri Adhikesava perumal with his consorts followed by Sri Peyazhwar thiruveedhi purappadu took place in the temple streets of Mylapore. The Pavithrotsavam will be conducted until 8th october 2014 at mylapore. All astikas are invited to attend the Pavithrotsavam and get the blessings of Sri Mayuravalli Thayar and Sri Adhikesava Perumal.
