On, 10 October 2014, Jaya Varsham Purattasi Bharanai; Day 3 of Pavithrothsavam in Sri Alarmelmanga sametha Sri Srinivasa perumal of Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam SVDD mylapore in grand way. Homam took place in the morning with arulicheyal and veda parayanm ghoshti. Evening Purapadu of Perumal and Swami Desikan followed by Vishnu sahasranamam by Sripadham thangis and sevarthis after which Veda Parayanam and Arulicheyal sevakalam took place with homam.
Pavithrothsavam commences from 08-10-2014 and concludes on 14-10-2014 with Mahapoornahruthi. Daily morning 8 am and evening 830 pm homam will take place and purapadu of perumal and swami desikan daily evening at 6.15 pm will take place.
Many asthikas took place on the Day 3 of Pavithrotsavam and had the blessings of the divya dhampathis and acharyan.
