On, 11 October 2014, Jaya Varsham Purattasi Karthigai; Day 4 of Pavithrothsavam for Sri Alarmelmanga sametha Sri Srinivasa perumal of Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam SVDD mylapore took place in grand manner. Homam took place in the morning with arulicheyal and veda parayanm ghoshti. Evening Purapadu of Perumal and Swami Desikan followed by Vishnu sahasranamam by Sripadham thangis and sevarthis after which Veda Parayanam and Arulicheyal sevakalam took place with homam.
