On the day 1 of avathara Utsavam, In the morning Peyazhwar on Mangalagiri Thiruveedhi purappadu took place in the temple streets of Mylapore , Likewise in the evening peyazhwar on Hamsa vahanam thiruveedhi purappadu took place in grand manner.Lot of astikas took part during purappadu and had the blessings of Azhwar and Perumal
The avathara dhinam of swami Peyazhwar falls on 2nd November, All astikas are invited to attend the Avathara Utsavam of Peyazhwar at Peyazhwar avathara sthalam and get the blessings of Sri Mayuravalli Thayar Sametha Sri Adhikesava Perumal and Sri Peyazhwar.
