On, 6 December 2014, Jaya Varusha Karthikai Rohini;Being Pournami, Thirukarthikai Utsavam took place in grand manner at Sri Vilakoli Perumal Temple , Thiruthanka,Kanchipuram. In the morning Vishesha thirumanjanam was performed to Perumal and asthanam with Ubhaya Nachiyars. In the evening Karthikai deepam was lit in all the sannadhis, later Perumal witness the Sokkapanai during thiruveedhi purappadu. Lot of sevarthies took part in the Thirukarthikai Utsavam and had the blessings of Divya dampatis.
