On, 12th December 2014, Jaya Varusha kaarthigai Ayilyam, Sukravaram purappadu took place for Sri Mathuravalli Thayar at at Thirukoodal Azhagar temple. After the ul purappadu asthanam was conducted for thayar. Lot of astikas took part in the purappadu and had the blessings of Divya Dampathi.
