On July 17th 2015, Manmatha Varusha First Aadi Velli, being Thiruvadhirai; Thayar Purappadu take place in grand manner at Sri Bhakthavatsala Perumal Temple, Thirukannamangai Divyadesam. Being aadi Vellikizhamai (friday) aroung 11 a.m Vishesha Thirumanjanam for abishegavalli thayar was conducted and later in the evening 6.30 p.m Ul prakara purappadu took place inside the temple premises. Lot of astikas took part in the purappadu and had blessings of Thayar and Perumal.
108 திவ்ய தேசங்களில் ஒன்றானதும் திருமங்கையாழ்வாரால் பாடப் பெற்றதுமான ” திருக்கண்ணமங்கை” திவ்ய தேசத்தில் ஆஜானுபாகுவாக எழுந்தருளியிருக்கும் ஸ்ரீ பக்தவத்ஸலப் பெருமாள் திருக்கோயிலில் இன்று ஸ்ரீ மன்மத வருஷம் ஆடி மாதம் 1 ந் தேதி 17.07.2015 வெள்ளிக் கிழமை, ஆடி வெள்ளியை முன்னிட்டு காலை 11 மணிக்கு விசேஷ திருமஞ்சனமும் இரவு 6.30மணிக்கு ஸ்ரீ அபிஷேக வல்லித் தாயார் ப்ராகார புறப்பாடும் நடைபெற்றது. ஏராளமான பக்தர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு தரிசித்து இன்புற்றனர்.
