On, 24 September 2015, Manmadha Varusha Purattasi Thiruvonam; Pavithrotsavam commences in grand manner at Sri Adhikesava Perumal Temple, Mylapore, Chennai. The pre events for pavithrotsavam such as angurarpanam, mruthsangraham were all done on 23rd evening. On 24th September, the day 1 of pavithrotsavam Pavithra Samarpanai was done followed by Homam in the morning and evening. Also in the evening around 5.30 p,m Perumal Purappadu took place in temple streets of Mylapore. Likewise on day 2 of utsavam homam was conducted in the morning and evening followed by Perumal Purappadu.. Many astikas took part in day 1 & 2 of pavitrotsavam and had d had the blessings s and Divyadampatis.
