On,18 October 2015; Manmadha Varusha Karthikai Thiruvonam, Sravana Purappadu for Swami Desikan took place in grand manner at Sri Vilakoli Perumal Temple, Thoopul, Thiruthanka Divyadesam, Kanchipuram. As being Swami Desikan Masa Thirunakshatram, Thirumanjanam for Deepaprakasar and Swami Desikan took place in magnificient way at avatara sthalam Thoopul. In the morning Swami Desikan Thiruveedhi purappadu took place in the maada veedhis of Kanchipuram. Lot of astikas took part in the purappadu and had the blessings of acharya.
