The presiding deity of the Mathuramangalam Temple is Sri Vaikunta Perumal with his consorts Sridevi and Bhoomi Devi. There is a separate shrine for Sri Kamalavalli Thayar. The temple is about 65 km from Chennai and around 20 km from Sriperumbudur, near Sunguvar Chatram. On November 29th 2015, Punarvasu Utsavam was celebrated at this temple. Perumal along with His Consorts had beautiful alangaram with Swami Embar gave beautiful dharshan to the devotees. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and Parayana Ghosti. Many Bakthas participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis and Swami Embar.
