Irapathu of Thiruadhyayana Utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Temple, Thiruvallikeni Divyadesam. On December 27th 2015, being Day 7 Utsavam, Sri Parthasarathy Swamy had muthangi sevai along with His Consorts and Sri Namazhwar had Nachiyar Thirukolam followed by Thiruveethi Purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and Parayana Ghosti. Thousands of devotees thronged to have dharshan of Divyadampathis and Azhwar and received the blessings. The Parthasarathy Temple is an 8th century Hindu Vaishnavite temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, located at Triplicane, Chennai. It is one among the 108 divyadesams or holy abodes of Lord Vishnu. Lord Krishna is worshipped in the name ‘Parthasarathy’ in this temple, which means in Sanskrit, ‘charioteer of Arjuna’.
