This temple is located 15kms from Coimbatore off the Salem Highway near Chinniyampalayam is the 400years old Kaarana Kari Varadaraja Perumal temple in Venkittapuram, one that has been built in the Kerala style architecture. There is a separate South facing Sannidhi for the Utsava deity at this temple, a special feature at this temple. Opposite the Utsava deity is the sannidhi for Garuda, another speciality at this temple. On January 11th 2016, being Thiruvonam, in the evening, Sri Perumal along with His Consorts had Thiruveethi Purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and Parayana Ghosti. Many Bakthas participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
