Pooram is the Avathara Thirunakshatram of Sri Andal. On June 12th 2016, Vaikasi Pooram, Masa Thirunakshatram of Sri Andal was celebrated in a grand manner at Srivilliputhur Sri Vadapathrasayanar Temple. On this occasion, Sri Andal had Purappadu to Nandhavana Alangara Mandapam and gave beautiful dharshan to the devotees. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place in the midst of ghosti parayanam. Many devotees participated in the occasion and received the blessings of Sri Nachiyar.
