On July 9th 2016, Aani Pooram, being saturday, Purappadu took place in a grand manner at Thiruvahindrapuram Sri Devanathan Perumal Temple. On this occasion, Sri Devanathan Perumal along with Sri Andal had beautiful alangaram followed by Serthi Purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Many devotees participated in the Purappadu and received the blessings of Sri Perumal and Sri Andal.
