On July 21st 2016, Aadi Sravana Purappadu took place in a grand manner at Mylapore SVDD Srinivasa Perumal Temple. On this occasion, in the evening Sri Perumal with His Consorts and Swami Desikan had beautiful alangaram followed by Thiruveethi Purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Many devotees participated in the Purappadu to have dharshan of Divyadampathis and Swami Desikan and received the blessings.
