On 12 September, 2016; Durmukhi Varusha Avani Pooradam, Day 1 of Pavithrotsavam was conducted in grand manner at Sri Govindarajaswamy Temple, Tirupathi. On this occasion, In the morning thirumanjanam for Govindarajan with his consorts was performed followed by Pavithram samarpithal to all sannadhi. Later in the evening Perumal with his consorts thiruveedhi purappadu took place in the temple streets of Keezh tirupathi. Lot of astikas took part in the day 1 of pavithrotsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
