On September 22, 2017 (Hevilambi Purattasi Chittirai), the 750th Thirunakshatra Mahotsavam for Sri Vedanta Desikan commenced at Swami’s avathara sthalam, Sri Vilakoli Perumal Temple, Thoopul. Swami Desikan was majestically decorated for thiruveedhi purappadu. Several abhimanis took part in the event and received the blessings of the Acharyan.
