On 9th March 2018, Hevilambi Varusham Maasi Kettai; Sri Alamelumangai Thayar Maasi Sukravara Purappadu took place grandly in Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple at Mylapore. On this occasion, Thayar had Thirumanjanam followed by Purappadu inside the temple premises. Sri Alamelu Thayar was decorated beautifully with various types of flower garlands and gave scintillating darshan to the Bhaktas. Lot of Astikas participated in the Purappadu and had the blessings of Sri Alamelumangai Thayar.
