On 15th August 2018 (SriVilambi Aadi Hastham), Aadi Hastham Massa Avathara Dina Purapadu took place at Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Kanchipuram. In the evening, Sri Varadan along with Ubhaya nachiyars had purappadu in the temple streets in the presence of Srimath Azhagiyasingar of Sri Ahobila Mutt, currently observing Chaturmasyam at Kanchipuram. Perumal along with His consorts gave scintillating darshan to the astikas. Several devotees participated and had the blessings of Sri Varadaraja Perumal.
