On 11th August 2018 (Srivilambi Aadi Aayilyam), the 8th day of the Thiruvaadipoora Utsavam was celebrated at Kanchi Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple. In the evening, with Saaya Kondai, yellow silk vasthram, Kalikki Thuzhai, Thattai Padhakkam (Flat Pendant) & thangakudai (golden umbrella), Sri Andal had purappadu and oonjal sevai. Several astikas took part in ThiruAadipooram Utsavam and had blessings of Andal.
