On 9th October 2018 (SriVilambi - Hastham), purappadu took place for Sri Gajendra Varadaraja Swamy at Thiruvallikeni Sri Parthasarathy Temple. In the evening, Sri Gajendra Varadar adorned green and blue silk vasthram and was decorated with several ornaments like kaasu malai, chains and pendants. His consorts, in navy blue and pink vasthrams, looked graceful. The deities were beautifully decorated with flower garlands. Perumal (with Abhaya hastam and varada hastam) as well as Ubhaya Nachiyars blessed all the the astikas during the purappadu in the temple streets.
