The Annual three day Pavitrotsam in Appalayagunta temple commenced on 02 october 2021 in a grand manner. Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple is a vaishnavite temple located at Appalayagunta which is 16 km from Tirupathi in Chittoor district. The presiding deity has right hand as AbhayaHastham. The temple administration is under Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam(TTD)
Pavitrotsavam was performed between 02 October 2021 and 04 October 2021. All the rituals like thirumanjanam, Pavitrapratishtapanam, Pavitra maalai samarpanam, for all the deities were performed in all the three days. Photos of the pavitrotsavam can be viewed below:
