In Tirumala Srivari temple, on the occasion of annual Brahmotsavam, Koil azhwar thirumanjanam was organized on Tuesday morning. Brahmotsavam starts from 07 October 2021 to 15 October 2021. Usually, this thirumanjanam would be performed four times in a year- For ugadi, anivara asthanam, Brahmotsavam, Vaikunta Ekadasi. From Anandanilayam to Bangaruvakili, subtemples, prasadam pottu, temple premises, walls, ceiling and pooja items was cleaned and purified. After purification, namam, sandalpaste, Sreechurnam, saffron, and other perfumes were mixed and spread throught out the temple. After that, Archakas performed vishesha aradhanam. Only after completion of this, devotees were allowed to have darshan.
This process of purification of temple premises, active participation and supervision was done under supervision TTD officials.Photos captured during the event can be viewed below:
