Thiru Pavithrotsavam concludes in a grand manner at Sri Bhakthavatsala Perumal Temple, Thirukkannamangai Divyadesam. Today, Perumal had Thiruveethi Purappadu on Udhaya Garuda Sevai in the Temple streets of Thirukannamangai. Later Thirumanjanam and Theerthavari of Chakrathazhwar took place at Dharshana Pushkarani. Then Vishesha Thirumanjanam took place for Perumal in the Temple followed by Mahapoornahuthi at Yagasalai. Many devotees participated and had the blessings of Divyadampathis. Pavitrotsavam is a well prescribed ritual, where the archaka prays for forgiveness for all lapses–conscious or otherwise– in the daily worship of the Lord. Thirukkannamangai Bhaktavatsalam Divya Desam is located about 15kms South of Thirucherai Divya Desam on the Kumbakonam-Thiruvarur road between two rivers – OdamPokki in the South and Virutha Cauvery in the North.
