On 16 th October 2021 Sri Plava- Aippasi Avittam), Pavithrotsavam was performed in Sri Ahobila Mutt, at Chembur . Special homam was performed on the occasion. Perumal and Ubhaya Nachiyars were decorated beautifully with colourful pavithrams. The pavithrotsava events such as angurarpanam, Kumbha pradishtai, Adhivasa homam, Thirumanjanam, Pavitghramaalai samarpanam, Veda Prabhanda Parayanam commenced on 16 october 2021. Homam was conducted on the all days of Pavithrotsavam. Mahapoornahuthi was performed on 20 October 2021. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Several astikas participated in the Pavithrotsavam and had the blessings of Divyathampathis.
