Unjal Utsavam is celebrated in a grand manner in Srirangam. Utsavam commenced on 24 October 2021. Every day, Sri Ranganathar is adorned with beautiful silk garments and blesses devotees in Unjal Mandapam. Unjal Manadapam was decorated with many flower garlands. Perumal was adorned beautifully with salangai in his lotus feet. Every evening, Purappadu takes place inside the temple premises, in which SriRangarajan comes in procession with Golden umbrella and harathi is performed.
On Day-8(31 October 2021): Sri Ranganathaswami was adorned with beautiful garments and Sowri kondai, Bijapur dollar,stone studded AbhayaHastham, Diamond Step Chain, Precious stone studded ear ornaments.
On Day-9 (01 November 2021): Theerthavari was conducted in the morning, followed by Sattrumurai.
