Pavithrotsavam took place in a grand manner in Sri Varadharaja Perumal temple at Minjur for sanctification of the temple premises as well as for, any shortfall in Aradhanam caused. This utsavam is for rectification of such shortfalls.
The temple conducted Thirupavithrotsavam in a grand manner which commenced on 31 October 2021. The Pavithrotsava events such as angurarpanam, Kumbha pradishtai, Homam, Thirumanjanam, Alankaram, Pavithra maalai Samarpanam, Veda prabhanda Parayanam were conducted everyday. Alankaram for Perumal was very beautiful, which was relishing to the devotees. On day-2, Perumal was adorned in Sambalpuri Dhoti, which looked fantastic, adding beauty to the sathupadi. Many astikas attended the utsavam and got the blessings of Sri Varadharaja Perumal.
