Annakoodai Utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner in Sri Perundevi Nayika Sametha Sri Varadharaja Perumal temple at Injimedu, near Vandavasi in Thiruvannamalai district.
Varieties of snacks, sweets and other varieties of mixed rice were prepared and mahanivedhanam was performed. The place in which the deities were in asthanam, was decorated with beautiful flower rangoli. Vishesha Aradhanam, alankaram, Sattrumurai and Kumbha Harathi was performed during the day’s event. Many devotees around 400 people, in and around the village assembled and participated in the utsavam and got the blessings of Divya Dampathis. The utsavam concluded with the distribution of Theertha prasadam.
