Thirunakshatra Utsavam of Sri Peyazhwar was celebrated on 13 November 2021 in Sri Madhava Perumal temple at Mylapore. Thirumanjanam and Alankaram was performed for Perumal and for Azhwar on the day. Peyazhwar adorned with different thiruvabharanam and garlands gave darshan to the awaited devotees. On that day, Vishesh sattrumurai was performed in the morning and purappadu in the  morning and in the evening.
On Day-10(13 November 2021) Aippasi-27, Saturday; Sadhayam
Morning: Thirumanjanam was performed, alankaram was beautifully performed with Muthu Kireedom on his head, varieties of thiruvabharanams, thulasi garland and garland made of sampanki. Vishesha Sattrumurai was performed for Sri Peyazhwar on his thirunakshatram today. Prabhanda parayanam was also performed during the utsavam.
Peyazhwar performed mangalasasanam in Madhava perumal temple and was felicitated and got the blessings of divyadampathis. Peyazhwar Purappadu took place inside the temple premises.
Evening: Alankaram was performed in an aesthetic manner for Peyazhwar with varieties of big garlands of samandhi, varieties of thiruvabharanams and big samandhi maalai, vrikshi and dhavanam garland. Sathupadi of Sri Peyazhwar was enthralling. Purappadu of Azhwar took place inside the temple premises in Chapparam.
