07 December 2021, Plava varusha, Karthikai -21, Tuesday ;
Karthikai Brahmotsavam commenced in Sri Alarmelmangai Thayar Sannidhi, on 29 November 2021 and celebrated in a grand manner. Everyday, Thayar was adorned in different alankarams and gave darshan on different Vahanams.
Day-7 (06 December 2021):
In the morning, Thayar was adorned as Sri Venugopalaswami. Alankaram was performed beautifully with artistic workmanship using pearls and corals in Kireedom and garlands.
Sathupadi was wonderfully done with playing flute posture and cow standing by the side mesmerised by the Venuganam of Sri Krishna.
Day-07: In the morning and in the evening, Thayar was adorned as Sri Krishna, mounted on Surya Prabhai and Chandra Prabhai; Suryan and chandran both are like His two eyes. In Tiruppavai, Sri Andal requests Perumal to have a mercy look at the ladies in vrudham, with His “beautiful little lotus like red-coloured eyes, which looks like a sun and moon coming together”.
