Pagal Pathu Utsavam commenced in Sri Sarangapani Perumal temple at Kumbakonam on 16 December 2021.
Day-2:(17 December 2021), Utsavam commenced in a grand manner with Vishesha alankaram and Perumal, adorned as Balagopalan Sevai.
Alankaram for Perumal was beautifully performed with chowri kondai with hair accessories, varieties of thiruvabharanams, chaturbhujam, thayar pendant in His chest, tri colour floral kadamba maalai(samandhi, thulasi and arali), elaichi maalai, which looked enthralling. During the day, Periyazhwar Thirumozhi was chanted, in Sattrumurai as a part of Adhyayana utsavam.
Day-3:(18 December 2021) Sri Aravamudhan was adorned as Sri Andal.
Perumal was dressed up with Andal kondai, stone studded jadai, varieties of stone studded thiruvabharanams, coral chain, golden kanganam in the hastham, silver parrot, kadambha maalai looked so beautiful. As a part of Adhyayana utsavam, in Sattrumurai, Thiruppavai and Nachiyar thirumozhi was chanted by prabhandha goshti. Hundred thada utsavam with Akkaravadisal was the special event.
