On 02 January, Margazhi moola nakshatram, being Sri Hanuman jayanthi, Vishesha thirumanjanam, alankaram, aradhanam was performed for utsavamurthy in Anjaneyar at ThiruIndhalur. Sathupadi for anjaneyar was adorned beautifully with kireedom, with varieties of thiruvabharnam. Poovalankaram was so wonderfully done with samandhi maalai and kadambha maalai in the combination of red roses, samandhi, thulasi. Hanuman was adorned with playing tambura in singing posture in praise of Sri Ramar. Purappadu took place in the mada streets in ThiruIndhalur.
